Amidst accusations of “unprovoked” war in Ukraine and calls for Putins assassination, it is worthwhile to examine past and ongoing lethal weapons aid to Ukriane by the US and the NATO Allies after the US staged coup in early 2014 in Kyiv, used in killing and bombing thousands of civilians and resistance forces in the Donetsk and Luhansk people republics over last 8 years. Past and current policy decisions, lethal weapons deliveries secure escalation against Russia, and losses among the Ukrainian civilian population with strong potential spillover into the EU and the US, the NATO involvement . There are reports of as many as 7000 foreign students and workers from India, Africa, China being shot, denied safe exit and effectively held as hostages by the Ukrainian military and paramilitary in Lviv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv and Kyiv.

The conflict Spillover to the EU and neighboring Ukriane countries is extremely high even near term spring 2022 but expected to extend next few years. Threats to Putins life and supplying lethal aid are extremely destabilizing, serve as unifying trigger for Russia and lead to global nuclear war. In the meantime, the situation over Ukraine is expected to deteriorate with higher losses and destruction near term due to provided western lethal aid used in Kiev, Lviv with Russia achieving its operation goal for ukriane despite losses and securing removal of lethal aid within weeks.

A little historic preview to rapidly escalating war with serious potential to spillover and end in a nuclear end. The US had agreed to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine in 2017. the first delivery of 210 Javelin missiles arrived in April 2018. the US had at least €600 millions of lethal weapons , anti-tank and surface-to-air missiles committed and delivered before February 24 when Russia began the operation in Ukraine. With thousands of civilians killed in Donetsk and Luhansk over 8 years, prosecutions and executions of ethnic Russians in Donbas, recent flow of sanctions and billions in lethal weapons and aid pouring to Ukriane since 2021, Ukrianes Zelensky threats to obtain nuclear weapons at the Munich conference before the Russian operation, no one can argue that what’s unfolding now is an unprovoked event. It’s not too late to stop flow of lethal aid and end the conflict, but there is no political will in the west to do so. Fatal errors are made by the western governments and steps fueling the world war are taken every day towards mutual destruction.
